Robert and Ashley Royster

We'll start by introducing ourselves.
I'm Robert - part of RobertandAshley as we are usually called because our names are often used in the same sentence as a run on.

We started Ruckus 11 years ago in 1999 with several college friends.
It was late one night with that famous conversation - "Let's open a bar - yeaahhh - With Pizza - Yeeaaahh!"
It's a little hole in the wall by NC State in the Mission Valley Shopping Center
Ashley and I enjoyed good pizza, beer and music.
So we found the space and created Ruckus. The best little pizza place near NC State.

I am an IT guy by trade and had no experience in the restaurant business.
I figured - How hard could it be???  I found out.
A few years and lots of bucks later Ryan Pilz walked into our life.
Things went much smoother with Ryan in charge and Ruckus finally started to prosper.
He took us from just another pizza place, to "the pizza and bar place"!

It was then that we realized that Ryan was going to be more than just a manager-he was going to be a partner and so the journey began....
